In today’s world, everyone has a camera right in their pocket, and images are taken by the thousands every day. What sets my work apart is the years I’ve spent perfecting the art of capturing moments and creating emotional connections through my lens. I’ve dedicated time to learning and evolving my skills, especially in artistic editing.
I don’t aim to create images that look like an iPhone snapshot—just a personal preference! While I do take plenty of pictures on my phone, my photography goes beyond that. I strive to elevate each shot, turning it into a true piece of art through my editing process and the moments I capture.
What do I specialize in?
I capture a wide variety of moments! From maternity and childbirth to newborns, children, and families, I love photographing it all. Whether it's headshots, candid lifestyle sessions, engagement photos, boudoir, weddings, parties, or milestones, I've got you covered! I also enjoy working with pets! I primarily use natural light and am happy to shoot in my space or your home. Outdoor captures are always great and I love just going on an adventure to find a great spot. Traveling is one of my passions, so I'm more than willing to come to you for your special moments!
To me a photo isn't just "a photo" it is my artistic impression of moments in time...memories captured to be treasured in the years to come.

To me it's not "just taking photos".
While I have a few favorite outdoor spots, I’m also a big fan of going on an adventure with my clients. When working with Seniors, I love involving them in the planning of their session. Meeting up for lunch beforehand to get to know them and their story is one of my favorite parts. I believe that when people feel comfortable and connected to their surroundings, they’re more relaxed and carefree. If we’re doing a session in my space, I make sure to serve snacks and drinks, creating a fun and laid-back atmosphere for everyone.
Capturing kids is my absolute jam! It’s a tough job, but I truly love it. I love setting up treasure hunts and rewarding the kids with a treat at the end to keep them engaged and excited.
I’m also completely in love with babies and kids! My main goal is to learn about their unique personalities and capture their joyful spirit. I totally get that some kids can be a bit shy or hesitant, and that’s totally fine! I know what it’s like to have a camera in my face, so I make it a priority to keep the sessions fun and relaxed. Above all, I want every child to remember their photo session as an enjoyable and memorable experience!
Stealing Moments
It's not about the perfect poses...
I’ve always marched to the beat of my own drum, choosing to go against the norm. I’m not the typical “posey-posey” photographer. What I truly love is capturing those real, raw moments. In this image, my son on the left dropped his favorite tiny toy in the tall grass, and we searched everywhere without luck. His younger brother on the right came over and wrapped his arm around him to offer comfort. I snapped this moment, and it became my favorite of the day...
Let them be little...enjoy the moments!
To me, the best shots aren’t always the ones with perfect lighting or flawless composition. What makes a photo perfect is the emotion and the feelings it evokes when I look at it. Kids love to run around and be active, and that’s completely okay if they don’t “sit still and smile for the camera”! I’d much rather capture them just being themselves—being "kids"!
I treasure finding beauty in simple things.
I adore all that is simple. Simply beautiful. From dewdrops, to the way light shines through trees or plants. There is so much beauty all around; yet we often do not take the time to "see" it let alone let it feed our soul.
